State Rep. David Martin last week participated in a town hall panel discussion in Flint examining the economic, environmental, and policy implications of data centers.
The discussion, held at the University of Michigan-Flint Riverfront Conference Center and hosted by the University of Michigan-Flint School of Management and the UM-Flint Entrepreneurs Society, brought together local leaders, industry experts, and policymakers to explore the growing role of digital infrastructure in Michigan.
“What this conversation needs is transparency as we seek both to protect our communities and remain competitive as a state,” said Martin (R-Davison).
Martin also thanked Dr. Michael Witt and event organizers for convening a timely discussion and bringing together stakeholders who will play a key role in shaping how communities approach data center development.
