State Rep. Pat Outman (R-Six Lakes) presented Meaghan and Collin Scheid, siblings from Belding, with state tributes on the House floor of the Michigan Capitol Building. The tributes congratulate them for achieving their Eagle Scout ranks and honor them for the exemplary community service projects they completed to achieve those ranks.
Meaghan, age 17, helped donate hygiene kits and fleece blankets for IM Fostering Hope for her Eagle Scout project, while Collin, age 18, helped rebuild the nature trail behind Belding High School.
“The Scheid siblings are a setting a great example for their peers and making great strides for our community by lending their hands to important local causes,” said Outman. “I’m proud to acknowledge their accomplishments and look forward to seeing what’s next for these Eagle Scouts.”
