“Construction personnel are tasked with fixing our roads in all sorts of weather while cars drive by just a few feet away. MDOT has a responsibility to ensure worksites are as safe as possible,” said Wozniak, R-Shelby Township. “The House Ethics and Oversight Committee must consider the shortcomings in MDOT’s follow-up, make certain all worksite crashes are thoroughly investigated, and guarantee all procedural failures are addressed and corrected.”

“Michigan is already the leader in advance manufacturing in the U.S. It only makes sense that we join with the U.S. Navy in this important defense manufacturing initiative,” said Wozniak, R-Shelby Township. “Given the concerning rise in global threats, I’m proud that Michigan will play a large role in ensuring our Navy has the talent and resources it needs to produce future maritime defense systems.
